The weekend following my trip to Köln, I went once again with the International Office on a free trip to the world famous Christkindlesmarkt. The market was packed with people but was still very nice (and the layout was much more organized than in Köln!) We went into the cathedral, which was quite nice and then had a guided tour of the city, which was very well done. We spent the rest of our time wandering through the markets sampling horrible Eierpunsch, which we thought was eggnog, and Nürnberger sausages, which were far tastier in comparison! We spun the ring for luck that is attached to the fence surrounding the fountain so hopefully our wishes will come true but honestly seeing how this semester has already gone, I would say they already have. ❤
