#tbt – Münster

Two summers ago in 2013, I did another month long language course in Münster, Germany.  I stayed with a lovely host and biked to class every day (for 45 minutes) from her house!  The town was small, but not too small, bigger than Dassel at any rate, and absolutely charming!  As I found out about 90% of the city was actually destroyed during the wars but they completely restored the buildings to look as they did before.  This picture was taken off the back porch at my host house and he has his very own “Bierstein” that says Münster on it!  I bought it for my mom but it was perfect Mickey size! 🙂

#tbt – Einbeck

Once again, a photo from my Dassel trip but this time it was to the cute little town of Einbeck.  It’s a city known for its beer, but also had adorable buildings and what used to be a dungeon and torture chamber! :O
